LGN Louis-Gabriel Nouchi – Spring/Summer 21 – L’Étranger
Inspired by literature, LGN is delivering a collection this season based on the first novel by Albert Camus L’Etranger. Located in Algiers, the narrator named Meursault learns of the death of his mother and, a few days later, kills a man on a beach. Concerned by the social repercussions affecting, in particular, the world of the spectacle, Louis-Gabriel Nouchi wishes to put forward the actors of the Comédie-Française through an unprecedented partnership, as well as several promising actors of French cinema and theater. In the form of an audition, their reading of Albert Camus’ text from Abroad, when the doors of Parisian theaters are still closed, puts the human and the book at the center of the project.
